usefull, but the actual DIN 16518 clasification is quite more accurate (germans, you know, they clasifie every single matter). Is not perfect, but all others are even worst ;>)

    nice job, anyway

  11. miguel on May 7, 2008 said:

well, the clasification you gave is rather old…This Type sytematic from the “Deutsche Institut fuer Normung” (DIN)-in my opinion- is more accurate.

Hey Jacob. I was roaming the pages of “Fondos de Pantalla” and came across your ad for this free ebook. Thanks a bunch. If it’s like everything else on your site, I’m sure it’s very informative.

I’m new to the graphic design game, and have been frequenting your website for info and inspiration for a short while now. Keep it up man. I think I just may subscribe to your site while i’m here.

    Hey Jacob

Thanks for the wonderful font book. I admired how you were able to bring out artistic design with text vector art in the background and rendering them in PDF. Awesome!

On the first page, second column, second line, should there be an ‘is’ instead of ‘it’?

Hello Jacob, I’m new to your blog but I’m already so addicted to it! I never thought I’d be learning about design in my summer break as much (or maybe more) than I do in my collge time!

So I really just want to thank you a lot for this website! And also I would love to have a copy of this Type eBook since i’m sure it will help me a lot as a student. But even though I subscribed I can’t see the password.

    I hope you don’t mind e-mailing me ?

    Hi JC,

Saw the first page of ‘Type Classification eBook. Seems an exciting work. IF you don’t mind, may I mark a typing error on page 1 item 6, second line? After “font specimen sheet” the word ‘it’ should be replaced by ‘is’…I think.

I’m not trying to be smart, just to let you know with how much interest and concentration I started reading the book. Will post my comments after I finish the book. Can’t wait. Cheers.
