Great post. To me, the first point is the critical one. Get out there. Don&#039;t worry about being perfect before you get going; get going! A lot of folks are waiting for work to come to them without realizing you have to draw clients to you. It&#039;s work, but without that you&#039;re just a person with an idea, so put yourself on the line every day.

You may bring a handful of skills to the table but start by focusing on one, create some happy customers and build from there through networking and referrals.
