Japan & New Zealand Holiday Photos
Published on Thursday, October 1, 2009 – 12:27 am | 44 brilliant comments »
Throughout June and July I was on vacation travelling through Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam and New Zealand and as usual, with any major trip, I share the photos and stories with you.
I posted the Cambodia & Vietnam photos a few weeks back and now I’ve finally had the chance to go through the Japan & New Zealand photos.
The Japan leg of my Asian themed holiday was spent with my mother and was a gift for my 21st birthday. It was great to spend some quality time with her while experiencing the Japanese culture and it also gave me a chance to do things that I wouldn’t have done if I was traveling with my mates.
In Japan we went to Tokyo, Shinagawa, Yokohama, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Hikone, Miyajima, Okayama, Hiroshima and Takayama. Click the map for a larger view of where we travelled.
Enjoy the happy snaps and sorry for not being more descriptive, I’ve forgotten a lot of the names since the trip back in July. Read more »

Photos From My 4300km (2670 Miles) Road Trip Around Australia
Published on Monday, October 13, 2008 – 9:00 am | 41 brilliant comments »Over the past 2 weeks I have been traveling around Australia on a 4300km (2670 Miles) road trip in the Australian outback and as usual after I return from any major holiday, I share some of the photos with my readers.
Those who came on the road trip consisted of myself and five Norwegian University friends (3 designers, 1 architect and 1 nurse) and we started our journey in Newcastle where we caught the train down to Sydney (3 hours) where we picked up the rental camper vans… from there, our road trip began.
Rather than going through the whole trip I will outline some of the highlights by showing some photos with a small caption underneath each photo. We had 1600 photos all together but here are just a few in no particular order. Enjoy.

Happy Snaps from Fiji and Cruise
Published on Thursday, January 10, 2008 – 12:38 pm | 22 brilliant comments »Well I have had a few people asking me for some photos from my time on holidays in Fiji and on a Cruise around the Pacific (New Caledonia - Noumea, Lifou, Isle of Pines) - I was a bit reluctant at first but after seeing David Airey’s post, I thought why not? If you read the captions beneath each of the photos, it describes the photos and you may also learn some things you didn’t know about me.
Other Places I’ve Been
If you have read my about page you will know that I love travelling and it may also interest you that I have visited these other places just in case you come from there…Belgium, Canada (British Columbia, Whistler, Blackcomb, Big White), America (California, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Las Vagas, Florida), Denmark (Copenhagen), England (London), Fiji (Nadi, Suva), Finland, France (Paris), Germany, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Norway (Oslo), Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sweden (Goteborg, Stockholm), Vanuatu, Thailand, Hong Kong.
Future Plans
I am going on a 42 day camping trip by myself (through Contiki) and 29 other people I haven’t met, around Europe (England, France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium) and on the way back will be stopping in Hong Kong, China for 3 days.
Update: I’ve posted pictures from this trip here.
Two weeks after I come home from that I will be going to Singapore for 3.5 months to study graphic design at Nanyang Technological University as I was awarded a AUD$3000 scholarship to study overseas. It’s going to be a big year. No longer going due to subjects not being valid for my particular degree.
If you have any stories from your travels (especially if they are from the places I have been) I would love to hear them.
